With the Ministerial Authorization of 17/06/2021, Notifications from CSLLPP on 22/06/2022 and 04/07/2022, and Accreditation Certificate No. 156B, International Weld is Notified Body No. 2620 for CE certification activities according to PED Directive 2014/68/EU for the following activities:
- Conformity assessment and CE certification of pressure equipment and assemblies for Modules:
- A2: Internal manufacturing control and supervision of final verification;
- B - type of production : EU-type examination – production type;
- B - design type: EU-type examination – design type;
- C2: Conformity to type;
- F: Product verification;
- G: CE verification of a single product.
- D: Conformity to type based on the quality assurance of the production process;
- D1: Quality assurance of the production process;
- E: Conformity to type based on the quality assurance of pressure equipment;
- E1: Quality assurance of inspection and testing of finished pressure equipment;
- H1: EU design examination within the certification of conformity based on total quality assurance with design control.
- Approval of methods and personnel performing permanent joints for pressure equipment of categories II, III, and IV according to Annex I, point 3.1.2.
- Approval of personnel performing Non-Destructive Testing for pressure equipment of categories III and IV according to Annex I, Article, point 3.1.3.
Certification Process
The certification of pressure equipment involves the following steps:
1. Acceptance of the economic offer.
2. Submission of the certification application.
3. On-site inspection activities for type examination, verifications, or supervision.
4. Deliberation and issuance of certification.

Application opportunities
The Directive 2014/68/EU applies to pressure equipment or assemblies of pressure equipment (vessels, steam generators, piping, and pressure accessories).
The recipients are the manufacturer or their authorized representative established in the European Union for pressure equipment/assembly intended to be placed on the European market and CE marked.
PED certification is required for conformity assessment modules and approval of the operational methods of personnel involved in permanent joints.
